1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any AACA (African Academy of Creative Arts) website, platform, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.
2. Enrolment & Applications
All applications are subject to review and acceptance by AACA. Acceptance into a programme does not guarantee enrolment until a signed contract and required fees have been received. AACA reserves the right to decline any application without providing a reason.
3. Fees & Payments
All fees are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are subject to change. Registration fees are payable upon acceptance to secure your place. Tuition fees are payable according to the payment plan selected at the time of enrolment. Failure to meet payment obligations may result in suspension from the programme.
4. Cancellation & Refunds
Campus programme contracts are binding for the full duration of the programme. Students wishing to withdraw must provide written notice. Refund eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act and AACA's internal policy. Online course refund eligibility is assessed under the applicable online course policy after access has been granted.
5. Intellectual Property
All content produced by AACA — including course material, videos, guides, and branding — is the intellectual property of AACA. Students retain ownership of original creative works produced during their studies, but grant AACA a non-exclusive licence to use such works for promotional and educational purposes.
6. Code of Conduct
All students and users are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, respect, and integrity. AACA reserves the right to suspend or expel any student or terminate access to any user whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, offensive, or harmful to others.
7. Limitation of Liability
AACA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the fees paid by the user in the preceding 12 months.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
